The Acer Aspire 5050 runs on the Windows Vista Home premium operating system. For user interface the Acer Aspire 5050 has a keyboard with 88 keys, it is an inverted T cursor layout with embedded numeric keypad. Not only that it has also hotkey controls, international language support, and 2.5mm minimum key travel. In addition to that, it has 12 function keys, two Microsoft Windows keys, four cursors.
